Are there any common concerns or misconceptions people have about joining rugby?

“I need to be super fit or experienced to join.”

Many new players worry they’re not strong enough, fast enough, or don’t know the rules. The Drifters welcome ALL levels. Beginners, experienced players, and everyone in between. The team culture focuses on growth, not perfection.

Rugby needs fast people, strong people, tall people, short people, and everything in between.

What’s the time commitment like?

Most players attend two practices a week plus games on select weekends. We know life is busy so your commitment can be flexible, and new players can ease in at their own pace.
